A major railway terminus in central London, Waterloo is easily Britains busiest railway station in terms of passenger throughput. The simulation retains the full 21 platforms available prior to 1990.
Waterloo has more platforms and a greater floor area than any other station in the UK. It is the terminus of a network of railway lines in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire, South West England, and the south-western suburbs of London. Main line trains serve Portsmouth, Southampton, Bournemouth, Weymouth, Salisbury and Exeter.
Obviously, this is a very busy simulation to operate. To make it more manageable, the included timetable is for a Sunday (in 1987), with 418 trains over 16 hours.
